The refreshed IdeaPad Y Series will include Lenovo’s new Enhanced Experience Version 2.0 to make the users experience more efficient and less time consuming. Using the optional Lenovo RapidDrive SSD Technology, the IdeaPad Y470 and IdeaPad Y570 can have boot times in under 10 seconds! With Lenovo’s included RapidBoot technology, each new IdeaPad Laptop will start, on average, 20 seconds faster than other similar laptops without this ingenious Lenovo technology.

The IdeaPad Y470 will be out in May 2011. The exact specifications are not know yet, as the models will have several pre-configured options when they are released. For now, Lenovo has just released general specs. We’ll bring you more information as it is delivered to us, so keep an eye out!
