Lenovo IdeaCentre B305
Two months ago Lenovo announced that it would soon release a multi-touch home computer priced under $700. Well, they’ve kept their promise with the recent release of the Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 all-in-one machine, which features not only a multi-touch screen, but also plenty of processing power, memory and graphics capability.
Pretty soon you won’t need your television. That’s because the Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 boasts a 21.5-inch screen capable of displaying true high-definition – 1920 x 1080 – video thanks in large part to the great graphics card – the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5450 graphics card. Also available with the B305 is an integrated TV Tuner, which will allow you plug your cable box right into your computer.
Beauty on the Inside
And there’s more to the Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 than just a pretty face; it’s also beautiful on the inside. For starters, the AMD Athlong II X2 235e processor tops out at about 2.7GHz, which means that you’ll have to try pretty hard to max out on power. There’s also 2GB of RAM – and upgradeable to 4GB – as standard equipment, so it’s capable of multi-tasking as well.
Need ease of interaction? That’s a cinch with the Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 because the large display is fully equipped for multi-touch interaction. Zooming, scrolling and selecting can all be done with the touch of your fingers. But, just in case you like the old-fashioned way, the B305 comes with a sleek wireless keyboard and mouse combo.
Who said the desktop is dead? It certainly wasn’t Lenovo customers. Learn more about the Lenovo IdeaCentre B305.
Lenovo IdeaPad Z360
The Lenovo IdeaPad Z360, which was announced at the same time as the IdeaCentre B305, is a beautifully designed 13.3-inch laptop with a starting price of just $849. And what does that get you, you ask? A lot.
The base model comes equipped with an Intel Core i3 processor, and Intel mobile graphics card and a minimum of 3GB of RAM. Not enough for you? Opt instead for the Intel Core i5 version, which also features a high-end NVIDIA graphics card – the GeForce 310M – which has 512MB of graphics memory.
There are also built-in WiFi and Ethernet cards, Bluetooth, plenty of ports and a media card reader.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Z360 takes up a nice mid-market spot in the IdeaPad lineup, proving once again that the company is truly dedicated to answering market demand.
